A New Week

Monday rolls around again! Starting this week we're working to a new roster at work. So now my long delivery runs are Monday mid-morning and Wednesday afternoon, and I have late shift every Monday. That means no more Monday Walk, I suppose. I'm a bit disappointed. Monday is the day I'm always more motivated to achieve things - go for a long walk, cook a healthy dinner, etc. So I feel a bit trapped knowing I have to stay back late at work sitting on my butt. On the bright side though, on days when I have late shift I have an hour for lunch instead of half-an-hour, so on those days I go for Lunchtime Walk. And perhaps when the daylight gets longer and I build up more energy, I might even feel like going for Monday Walk after work as well. In the meantime I'll just do Tuesday Walk instead!

Meanwhile ...

Been getting a bit of hayfever the last few days. Is Spring coming?
Been feeling a bit more motivated too as the weather's getting warmer. Last night I was thinking, 'I really want to do a toning session'. Unfortunately I was lying in bed about to go to sleep at the time; I'm hoping I can call up that feeling again when I get home.

Was looking again at my new work roster and realised how regular it is. Before, we were doing different things each week, a lot of filling in, etc. Now (barring anything unexpected happening), it's the same every week. That means I can make plans, perhaps even do up a weekly exercise plan. I could progress steadily, improve - that sort of thing! I might even start bandying about the 'G' word again - goals!
I just gotta get through this late shift first.
