No. 2 (top right) was actually painted by Mali herself. The elephants at Melbourne Zoo are encouraged to play with paints as one of their enrichment activities. My favourite however, is the last one I found (bottom right), though I was sad that it was located in a dreary square surrounded by people in suits who were paying no attention to her. This morning I was even inspired to write a haiku about it:
Cold and grey and square
Sunless; painted elephant stands still
One came to admire her
